Philip Waxman
Philip is a experienced corporate Finance and strategic consultant/Non-exec specialist. As a Chartered Accountant, he has been instrumental in supporting growth plans, raising finance and undertaking M&A assignments for a number of growing businesses including a Pilkington Plc subsidiary and a Private Equity backed technology business. Adept at working as part of a team, his key strengths are in quickly grasping financial information, helping to formulate innovative strategic plans, coaching the best out of senior directors and using his negotiating skills creatively. His experience unusually spans Finance Director, General Audit Partner and Corporate Advisory/Coaching roles, with the focus on advisory/strategic planning support to Owner managed businesses up to £30m turnover in more recent times.
Angela Downey
With nearly two decades of experience in representing Blue Chip and SME clients, due to the breadth of her background and exposure gained through working across industry sectors, Angela is well placed to understand the issues arising in the majority of industry sectors and to evaluate how these may impact on the SME owner anticipating a business sale or merger in today’s competitive climate. She has led and completed numerous transactions on behalf of clients within commercial and industrial sectors across the country. Angela has worked within a variety of industry sectors, including; Insurance, Automotive, IT and Distribution. Angela has received classic corporate business training and held responsibility for Sales, Marketing and Business Management.
